This weekend I had the chance to talk to David Gushee (Ethicist, Pastor, Author, Advocate). He is the Distinguished University Professor of Christian Ethics at Mercer University, and Chair of Christian Social Ethics at Vrije Universiteit (“Free University”) Amsterdam, and Senior Research Fellow, International Baptist Theological Study Centre.
David was Keynote Speaker at the „Coming-in“- Conference in Frankfurt/Germany, a gathering for queer christians and ally’s.
In this episode we talked about why David changed his mind about the LGBTQIA+ Community, postevangelicalism, deconstruction and how to move on after leaving the evangelical church.
